Distinguished Citizen Award Events
The Distinguished Citizen Award is an opportunity to recognize a community leader who has established themselves as someone who has contributed to the local community through their time, talent, and resources. These events are the single largest source of funding for local Scouting.
Companies who invest in Scouting serve as Corporate Sponsors and receive recognition at the dinner. The majority of funding comes from individuals who attend and make an investment in Scouting. For individuals there is no cost per person to attend, instead, individuals are asked to make an investment in Scouting the night of the event.
These funds help the Chattahoochee Council fulfill the mission of the Boy Scouts of America and continue to make a positive impact on youth.
Below is a listing of the 2017 events. If you would like to assist with any of these events please contact Philip Wright.
