We are pleased to announce the selection of Juan F. Osorio as Scout Executive for the Chattahoochee Council in Columbus, Georgia, effective January 1, 2018.

Juan began his Scouting career as a program specialist at Narragansett Council in Providence, Rhode Island. He moved on to become a district executive in 2007 and later district director with Narragansett Council. He was then promoted to the council's development director and director of field service.

Born in Medellin, Colombia, Juan is an Eagle Scout who enjoys jogging, playing soccer, and vacationing with his family. He has two children, Jamilah and Julian. Please join me in congratulating Juan as he joins in partnership with the volunteers and staff of Chattahoochee Council to deliver quality Scouting experiences to the young people of the communities they serve.
